About Janet Kearns
I am a painter who studied Art History and Fine Art in university and have since worked in the art field. Always. (oils and acrylics and watercolour) I am presently living in the Pacific Northwest on a wonderful small island. I have worked for over 20 years, doing many murals and artistic signs and portraits; everything I could do, I did. Commercial murals as well as trompe l'oeil for many homes. I was part of a team who won a prize in Ontario for a show home as well as countless commissions from businesses and private sale. Now, I find myself on the computer this year after a back injury (not serious) kept me home resting, but the creative energy can't rest. Artists never retire!
