Base painting of the vintage movie poster for ''La Strada'', an Italian drama film released in 1954, directed by Federico Fellini and starring Anthony Quinn. This iconic film is celebrated for its poignant exploration of love, loss, and the human condition.
Set against the backdrop of post-World War II Italy, the story follows the journey of Gelsomina, a simple-minded and innocent young woman portrayed by Giulietta Masina, who is sold by her impoverished family to Zampanò, a brutish and volatile circus performer played by Anthony Quinn. As they travel together along the roads of Italy, Gelsomina becomes ensnared in Zampanò's tumultuous world, grappling with her own desires for freedom and belonging.
